Weapons

There are quite a few weapons in Robocraft. Each weapon has its strong points and weaknesses. The main weapons (plasma, laser, rail) have different levels.

Laser

  • low singular damage
  • extremely high fire rate
  • not an AOE (area of effect) weapon
  • no time between fire and hit
  • accuracy decreases in continuous fire
  • commonly used as an smg
  • energy consumption: low

T5top

Plasma

  • medium damage
  • medium fire rate
  • AOE weapon
  • projectile takes time to reach target
  • accuracy does not decrease
  • used as: grenade, artillery, bombs (for VTOLs and planes)
  • energy consumption: medium to high
  • Best module pair: Power module

Plasma_Cannons_L5

Rail Guns

  • high damage
  • extremely low fire rate
  • small AOE weapon
  • Projectile is fast, but not instantaneous
  • Accuracy is always on point when still
  • used as: sniper, anti-aircraft
  • energy consumption: medium

Tesla (melee)

  • Highest damage
  • robot has to either very bulky or very sneaky
  • improbable for flying and ranged robots
  • no energy consumption
  • best weapon pair: ion shotguns
  • best module pair: Ghost module

Lock on Missile Launchers (LEGENDARY WEAPON)

  • high damage
  • medium fire rate
  • AOE weapon
  • high tracking missiles
  • fast, tracking
  • accuracy: almost always finds target
  • used as: air to air missiles, air to ground missiles
  • energy consumption: medium

  • high damage
  • medium fire rate
  • giant AOE weapon
  • fast projectile
  • good accuracy
  • anti aircraft
  • medium energy consumption

  • high damage at close range
